9-3 and cobalt ss trans interchangeable?
9-3 and cobalt ss trans interchangeable?
are the 99-2005 saab 9-3 f35's interchangeable with the ss transmission? down here i can pick up a used saab trans much cheaper than an ss's.
i honestly cannot tell the difference between the m/t saab f35 and the gm f35. ive seen the autos look completely different. I would be surprised if they had the same linkages even. i just cant find a definite answer
the bell housing bolts up but the shift mechanism is totally different both in the casting shaft entry and the actual external operation. It just wont work unless you are prepared to do a crap ton of fab work. Fifth gear is marginally taller also and no lsd. if that matters.

The GMPP is a SAAB clutch originally
i figured he might lol
thanks a bunch!
