!! Anyone With Clutch Issues Read This !!
My car is currently sitting at my local dealer with the transmission laying on the floor due to clutch issues. My clutch was slipping and smelling to high hell under full boost and fast shifting.
Upon taking the trans and clutch out it was obvious there was clutch issues. The disc itself was still decent which was amazing due to all of the slipage, the flywheel and pressure plate had major heat spots.
Heres the kicker, after further inspection it was obvious that the slave cylinder was the major cause of this problem. It wouldn't operate smooth and was a tad bit rusty.
So maybe it isn't the clutch disc or pressure palte that is causing problems in the SS/SC.

If the clutch can fully engage I doubt there would be any problems.
My clutch slipped very badly every once and a while and after all of that the disc itself looked like it had 200miles on it.

I have realized that this car will melt the clutch or w/e is causing our clutches to go in stop and go traffic bumper to bumper. My clutch will feel like poo poo under two ocassions:
1. Like I stated before, stop and go traffic that's bumper to bumper.
2. If someone else drives it lol
It even slips after one of those situations occur, however, eventually the clutch comes back to life with some easy easy driving with it. My clutch is so weird. It plays head games with me

mine is kinda like that, sometimes it will slip when i'm getting on it but never in regular driving, but other times when i get on it act ok, no matter how cold or hot it is it never act the same twice. its weird saving for the stg 3 spec.

I usually blame clutch issues on driving habbits but after experiencing it first hand it's damn frusterating!
My car has 7000 miles and has got the occasional hard drive but the clutch problems only started at 6500 miles. Everyonce and a while it would just slip then work fine.

Any Problems with a SPEC Stage 2 Clutch
I have a SPEC Stage 2 Clutch and they have rebuilt it once because of a design problem. Now I am having a problem again about 600 miles after the re install. Has anyone had similar problems with the SPEC Clutches?
