Exclamation Auto conversion. Need help

So i have a 06 automatic ls. I tossed out the idea of wanting to convert it into a 5 speed. Does anyone know how much I would be looking to spend if decided to do this?

lots of work. You could get junkyard parts mostly. But the labor is a pain.

Change mounts for manual.

install clutch pedal and cylinder.

swap trans'

change shifter and cables.

get different ECU or get everything for automatic tuned out of yours

you would need a donor car. not worth it. in all seriousness, trade it in for a manual. or just be like me and accept having an auto. it doesnt mean i like it, but ive accepted it.

my shiftplus kicks ass. takes the lag out of the auto, actually shifts my trans faster than i can shift a manual (which im not half bad at). its a fantastic, cheap upgrade.

not really.. no way in hell can any driver shift as fast as an chipped auto idc if your mario andretti.. sure if you got a decent amount of power vs the other car you will have a good fight, but if its pretty much even say goodbye. theres a reason why zzp is builds auto trans' for at the track, they are faster from a dig..

i gots the roll races tho

Really? I didn't know it had been done. I've seen the manual to auto conversion, but never the other way around, that's cool that someone has actually done it. Is there a thread about it? I wanna save it so I can keep linking people to it.

I have a uncle that works in a junk yard/ you pull it yard and could probably get the parts cheap. but idk any idea how to do the labor. Would I be spending around 2 or + grand to complete this conversion?
