What about the opposite end of the wiring harness?
You'd have to trace the wiring back to the next connector. The tranny connector comes off by squeezing it top and bottom. I need to go to a donor car and get a connector to make sure you can unhook the individual wire end. I haven't tried on one of these connectors yet -- but I haven't run into a wiring harness yet that couldn't be disassembled -- just gotta find the restraint, always possible for a first time.

I could always just use the part numbers and make my own

It's understandable though....Good luck Hack!
We are hoping for the best also. We will be following along. I know that the auto's are limited in parts compared to the ss/sc and manauls. Hopefully this will have a great outcome for you guys.

this is a nice little toy for the 2.2 autos, and the 2.4 autos that don't plan on going xtreme with there cars and do tuning and all that other good stuff. Good luck on the project and not bad for 44 bucks
Doesn't it read on the side of the plug "BM Shiftplus for the 4T40E/4T45E Transmissions"? I thought i saw that in a picture on J-body.org
Goodluck with it hack! I don't like the idea of screwing around with something I have warrenty under yet.

syas on the site its a universal product still in testing...
anyway, until you guys get this, i recently (last week) floored it with my balt in L and it definitely shifts more aggressively...so keep this in mind until you get this product

Hack -- I visited a u-pull it yard and got a connector off a donor/wrecked 04 Malibu. You can disassemble the connector real easy -- pull off the black retainer on the back then slide the gray rubber grommet back. then squeeze the 4 retainers to the front light-gray cover in the back -- pull the light-gray cover out and all the wire ends are there and can be removed one-at-a-time. If you get a donor connector you'll be able to keep your original wiring and connector intact or better than that make it professional looking. I've seen threads where people use those blue splicers but they don't look very good.
