Axel Insatll Question

ok i have a question for you guys...i just blew my cv boot an had 2 get a new replacement driver side axel now my question is how much of a pain is it 2 do it yourself?
i really hate taking it 2 a shop couse ive done everything on my car myself an kinda would like to keep it that way untill i get 2 my clutch an flywheel that which i still might do myself

now has anyone every changed there axels or upgraded to the stage to an installd them themself? if so how bad was the removel an install can you post any helpful tips hints anything that you think will help

i should be getting the new 1 in durning the week an didnt wanna post it while im in the middle of an install

It's not too bad. Take the wheel off, remove the two lower shock bolts, disconnect the sway bar links, remove the axle nut, and take the spindle out of the lower A-arm. This will allow you enough play to move the suspension parts around, pull the hub towards you and slide the half shaft out of the hub. Then you just have to pop it free from the tranny with a big screwdriver or small pry bar.
