B&M Short Throw problem?!?!

This is not my first Short Throw install and this is my first Issue with one. I can not get it to go into reverse. As anyone had this problem and if so can I get someone to help me out on this one.

Thanks!

X2. You need to adjust the cables. Marking them prior to removal (like the instructions say) is the best way to do it. If you did not mark them, then you jsut have to play with the cables till you get it right. The tech at my shop that installed mine marked the cables prior to removal so adjusting it was a breeze.

The other issue we faced is that when we tightened the ball all the way down, it would not go into reverse because the reverse lock out hit the ball. We loosened the ball just a little bit and that gave it enough clearance.

They were marked before hand like the instructions said and still not working. I have been messing with it for about a hour now with no luck!

There is a small silver insert that locks reverse in the LS, that i discovered when installing my short throw, the SS/SC may have it too its really hard to find if you don't fix it by tomorrow ill go out and take a picture and you can see if you have it / its the problem.

Take the ball off and see if it works. If it does, then you need to loosen up the ball. If it doesn't then it is not adjusted properly.

Ok, it goes half way into reverse, but will not go all the way down?
