CPP is not showing its face around here like TTR does.
I think that I might go with TTR if I don't find a cheaper alternative !

check out the centerforce dfx from crate engine depot. it is about 830 bucks shipped and comes with a lightened aluminum flywheel. it is good for about 450 hp and 450 tq. best daily drivable clutch too. no real difference in pedal effort.

Exedy Hyper single is a good clutch, very highly rated.
If you go with SPEC ONLY get the "+" series
Stage 2+ for a SS/SC with a stage 2 kit, if you have any more power than that get the Stage 3+
Also PM us we can get anyone 10% off a Spec "+" series clutch when you also purchase a Spec Aluminum flywheel... (limited time offer)

That sucks
What's the problem?
So it's bearable in daily traffic?
How does it perform at the track ?

Stage 3 or 3+? And I have the Stage 2+ being installed atm and most people on the site with Spec Clutches don't have problems. Though if I was going to drop $400 on an aluminum FW, id rather go with the Exedy instead (clutch + fw in one package).

First off I am having a problem with a slow leak that I cannot trace in the hydraulics. So every day or two I have to bleed it because the pedal gets funny.
But even when its fresh and working I have trouble shifting. It doesn't grind but it is very hard to get into gear. Its very annoying. I am wondering if the pressure plate is not fully releasing?

"The Exedy Hypersingle's light billet aluminum pressure plate, 6-puck sprung clutch disk, and lightened chromoly flywheel"
Chrome moly is a steel, not aluminum the last time I checked and I'm 110% positive the pressure plate is forged aluminum.
Daily driving the clutch is fine. It will take a few days to get used too as it is a bit firmer than the stock clutch, but it was more than welcomed. It's all second nature now. It feels so much better and precise than the stock one or even the ClutchMasters ones did. It also always grips and never slips too which is a hell of a lot nicer!

the spec 3+ is the hands down winner in this.
the excedy cant come close to the specs driveability, not even close.
due to the flawed folcum points on the pressure plate of the excedy the pedal pressure is multiple times heavyer, for a vary minimal gain in plate clamp force (37lbs)
i'll take my stock-like pedal effort along with a almost equal clamp force any day.
the excedy cant come close to the specs driveability, not even close.

then you or whom ever did the install did not go about things properly.
i've got a solid 40k+ on mine, makeing more to the tire then just about any one, and i can drive her to work in AM rush hour traffic with not a single issue.
then race some one on my way home with zero slip.
i push every local guy to get a spec and we've yet to have an issue.
the only two clutch issues around here are with a bully clutch and an Excedy.
if you try to pull of your swap with a 2400lb clutch rod, I'll kill you or whom ever does your drivetrain.
you get my e-mail, like last week?

I don't know what there is to mess up?
I just bolted it on and torqued it down. And yes the disc is in the correct way.
