And no I dont autocross. So why would I take my car to do it when its not set up at all for auto-x. my buddy has a mini he auto-x that is fully set up for it. I dont even have a sway or strut bar. so since i drag and he doesnt and he auto-x and i dont we dont have a challenge i guess!
What a coincedence, spoon dosn't auto-x either... he races on road courses.

But he'd probably beat you in a drag as well, so it dosn't really matter.

I just wish you had a better explaination to all of this. 'Accidently' posting someone else time.. but it 'was your friend' and you didn't care to rectify the 'mistake' untill people started calling you out on it. I am not saying youo MEANT to do it.. just that your story seems a bit skewed.

Auto X is driving through cones and very very tight turns, etc. Road racing is actually wider and has more than one person going at a time. Kind of like the Nuremburg track or things you see where the Grand Am Cup Series where numerous cars are out there and actually have to pass each other instead of individually going and seeing who can get the best time. Check out the pics Sp00ner posted of him and the Ferrari and see how wide the road is.

Once I get done with the brackets, I might as well just send a set to you because the time delay between me sending from OH to TX and then it going up to IL is redundant as opposed to just shipping a set straight to you...

I've been part of CSC for over 2 years... I am one of the people that run the club... and i've never heard of a "Doug" in the club... and i know just about every single person in the club... what is his screen name on our site? Also there is no "Doug" in our Official Members list... so he is probably just on the site but not a club member.

Vandy that would be great if you could just directly send me a set of brackets. Just let Mark know so he doesnt send me a 2nd set. I appreciate it!

Yes he is just on the site. I did not ask his name on the site though. He was over tonight helping me put in the axles. I did not know there was a fee to be in the club. Sorry for the confusion though. But he is just a member on the site I believe.

I am very into the Cobalt. I love it. Just a lot of cheap parts that GM put into it. For the price you pay for this car they should have made the parts stand up to stock and for some of the mods that they knew would come out. The clutch is shitty, the axles are super shitty, and some stuff on the interior wasnt made right. just get on their ass to fix everything you find even if your in GM a couple times a week.

Do not go cheap with mods. only buy from a supporting vendor. No ebay pullies or anything like that. Dont go in baby steps because you lose money everytime you find something better. If you want to get a quick cobalt go for atleast a stage 4, 5 from intense or Cobalt Addiction now offers all stages including a stage 6 for like 100hp and 100tq over stock! Hope that helps
