can the lnf or lsj transmission interchange with the f23 ?
No, you're looking at a major major headache. Simple answer is no, it can't be done by the ordinary person. Now, if you have copious amounts of disposable income, you could probably drop several grand and figure out some way to rig it up.
Yeah, stick with the F23, it's still a really stout transmission. People have thrown a lot of power at them, plus the F35 is nearly impossible to get repaired, very few shops have the proper tools to do it and the ones that do charge a lot. Whereas the F23 doesn't require special tools and you can get it worked on at pretty much any ol transmission shop.
allright cool, thats good to know, anyway i had that tranny in my 2002 sunfire and i beat the hell out of it and its still good after 265 000 km, and they both have the same defect first gear is hard to get in hif you dont put it in 2nd before and sometime the 3rd is tricky hif you go low rpms but im used to it now for driving gm for 7 years

The F35, on the other hand, is made by FGP (Fiat-GM Powertrain), which doesn't ***** itself out to every manufacturer like Getrag does. That's also the primary reason why they're not interchangeable.
Yeah, agreed. Just about any tranny shop should be able to do a rebuild.
