clutch

i think its time for a new clutch...my clutch is gettin hot after just a short easy drive... any suggestions

he probally means it starts to slip once the clutch warms up.

i went for a short drive to the grocery store and back and i was never past 1/2 throttle and when i got home it smelled horrible and i know what a slipping clutch smells like...i did a WOT pull on it i didnt notice any slipping though...

was it heavy traffic drive back?...maybe your just slipping your clutch to much or maybe its not the clutch you are smelling...still all stock?

i belive stock clutch i drove through my back streets to get home iam still having hydrolic problems where at random times the pedal gets REALLY hard and barley lets me take it out of gear till i pump it a couple times

maybe a slave cylinder goin bad....have your dealer check it under warranty..tell them you just want it inspected to see if they can cover it under warranty an that you don't wanna do anything if you have to pay for it

Def slave cylender, mine was shot at 29k miles. My spec clutch chatters like a bitch, and If I don't drive it just right is slips

Example - Raced a modded 2008 evo 10 last night. From a 10 roll a smoked 1,2 and some of third and walked him by like 2-3 cars. Then I went to race him from a dig and I spun 1-2 then slipped the hell out of third. The spec clutches just don't hold the power they are rated for.

can anybody answer this question??? would the ss hold a clutchmasters stage 4 6puck clutch?? my clutch has been slipping secon and third gear for a while now, they told me to power shift when i race and it worked for a lil bit but now its not doing any good. and im interested in that clutch but i just dont know if it would hold.

my clutch been slippin for three months now....i sitll race wit hit until it dies completely then i will put on the exedy hyper single, i heard its the best clutch for our cars....im going twincharge so i will need a beefier clutch
