clutch

Ok so when i start the car up and when i go at like 4000 rpms or higher i feel some vibration in the clutch is this normal its not violent just noticeable.

Yeah, as long as it's not like super ass violent or anything. I have it too, almost all the time. It's clutch chatter.

so nothing to be worried about because i posted same question on another auto forum and i got a complete opposite answer. saying everything from oil in cylinders to engine problems but its norm?

..why is your foot on the clutch at 4K? (unless you are shifting)

I'm sure there are other possible explanations, but most of them are quite unreasonable, and furthermore, unpractical.

ok 2nd question when im going in reverse i prefer not to go in reverse fast so i have my foot on the clutch and i use tht to accelerate backwards and not the gas is this bad? and any suggestions on how to fix it?

Depending on whether or not you're on a slope, reverse with no gas isn't horribly bad for the clutch. I tend to give it a little bit to get it going, but at work with the lot being soft dirt, and our rims being 18s, I find I need to give it more gas than I did my LS to get the sucker rolling.

It's give or take really...even though I give it gas to get it rolling I never let my foot all the way off the clutch in reverse anyways unless I'm going a significant distance (as far as reverse is cocnerned) such as out of my driveway and around the corner.

yeah i only reverse like out of a parking space other then that i prefer not to.
