clutch decision......

alright iv looked over many treads over clutchs btw exedy hyper and centerforce DFX and i still cannot come to the conclusion of which one to go with. some say the centerforce is really good then some say otherwise and its $300 less than exedy and comes with a aluminum flywheel.

hyper single- 6 puck, steel flywheel
centerforce DFX- 6 puck, aluminum flywheel

im not looking to get a separate flywheel so thats out of the question.

my mods are

2.8
60lbs
ottp h/e
ottp dual pass
ottp intake
opt. b
vibrant header/dp/cat-back
custom tune

future mods at most will be:
2.7
meth

i would like people that have both clutches to chim in and help which one should i go with....

exedy hypersingle. make sure you order the LNF 08+ Throw out bearing/Slave cylinder, new flywheel bolts and clutch pipe to ensure a good install

What is the main difference between the two? What are the holding limits on both? 1k on a clutch is crazy IMO.

the lnf clutch bearing fits the lsj? and its odd that if its better its also cheaper

also i no to order the bearing and bolts but why the pipe??

apparently the DFX torq rating is aorund 400-450
and exedy is about the same??

the LNF bearing doesnt have that crappy rubber boot the LSJ one has. The clutch pipes are known for leaking so its a good time to replace it.

i have to re-do my set-up now because the LSJ bearing is leaking
