Clutch install

Clutch install

My clutch is starting to slip and i got quoted to replace my clutch would be $275. Is that a good price? i plan to put a zzp stage 4 in it.

i am kinda iffy about getting them to do it but the guy said they have done cobalts before and they have 13 years of experience.

thats a good price. I'd pay it in a second if i knew they were legit. A guy quoted me about 750 at a diesel performance shop. I asked him just for giggles n sh**.

That's crazy cheap. Almost too good to be true. Is it some guy in a garage at his mom's house? You sure he realizes how much of a PITA our clutch swap is?

its a legit shop that does nothing but rebuild transmissions and clutches. I mean he sounded certain about being able to do my car.

whats funny is locally the guy in his driveway does it the fastest. every shop who has been able to do it for cheaper has screwed everything up

I can't see it being that cheap, but hey, if they wanna do it get them to quote it properly and when it takes them 10 hours to do it dont get caught like I did >.<

yeah not a bad price at all it oonly took me about 2 days to swap minr out in the drive way wasent to bad just a little cold hahaha

Its not hard at all to swap the clutch out, it's getting to the clutch that is challenging
