Clutch install help

Im putting in a new clutch on my 05 cobaltss 2.0l and i was wondering how hard is it to do and if anyone knows a link i can get step by step directions along with the tools needed. Thanks in advance!!

Also it is a pain in the ass if you dont have all the tools.

did mine under my car, hardest part is bleeding the slave otherwise cake. you just gotta take a lot apart but it's fairly straightforward. i only dropped the trans

its pretty easy...having air tools makes it a lot easier. just dont do what my boy did and forget to put the throw-out bearing back in....lol

what was it do hard it took me about 5 mins?

Lol, yea its really easy if you have air tools. The hardest part for me was getting the throw out bearing out those screws were so damn tight. If you have all the right tools and you know what your doing 6-7 hr job if you take your time.

I couldnt get it to bleed, as have several other people with new slave cylinder issues

lol...dude for real. on my old truck i put a Clutchmaster stage 3...it took me one breaker bar, an impact gun, and 2.5 cans of penetrating oil just to get them things to loosen up. lol

I found that trying to vacuum bleed our clutch does not work very well and it is in some cases said to be dangerous. In my opinion, stick with letting it gravity bleed for a few mins then do it the old fashion way with two people, one pumping the pedal, the other one tightening and loosing the bleeder screw.
