clutch problem!!!!!

I have an 06 Cobalt SS with stage 2 kit and stage 3 clutch. Recently my master cyl went out and actually shot through the firewall from the pressure of the clutch and cracked my firewall. My car needs a new firewall and needs to downgrade the clutch. I just bought it within the last few weeks too. Anyone else have this problem or any advice what to do?

its an Exedy Stage 3 clutch. my cousin is a mechanic and he said the pressure from the stage 3 clutch pushed the stock clutch master cylinder right through the firewall and cracked the firewall so now it needs a firewall, im going back to a stock clutch

The fire wall is steel I don't see the fire wall breaking. I have a ZZP stage 5 pressure plate and it's not breaking the fire wall. Are you sure it's not the master cyl. that's just broken?

Have you been mashing the clutch as hard as possible depressing it? Standing on it? Mine's a bit stiff but I can't picture tearing up the firewall. Sorry but it sounds like operator error.
