what kind of exhaust?
so ive got a 07 ss/sc. when i bought it it already had a different muffler on it. it sounded okay before, but i recently installed a high flow cat, now it sounds like a tin can around 4k rpm. and i hate the sound of those ricey mufflers. i need some suggestions on a good muffler that sounds deeper and more throaty than rice-can like. lol. thanks!

It is extremely difficult to make a small displacement inline 4 cylinder sound good. The best sound is one that is mellow and deep, not obnoxious and raspy. And achieving that is very challenging endeavor. I have not heard any aftermarket exhaust for a Cobalt that I actually thought sounded good. Personally I would stick with the stock system, which is what I'm doing.
