Clutch Problem

First of all I have looked at the various ways to bleed a clutch. After bleeding it the regular way, and trying to vacuum bleed it i'm still having problem. My clutch will be fine for the first like 10-20 shifts then it will **** out on me. The last couple times I could rev-match/heel toe to get it home but yesterday the clutch wouldn't disengage at all. Even with the clutch in the car still wanted to go. My question is, am I still not getting the air out of the line or could it be my master. The slave is fine, I've had 2 different ones in due to this problem.

LSJ or LNF? LNF slave cylinder?

Sounds like trapped air to me. Vac bleeding mine wouldn't get it either. I had to bleed it several times days apart from the bleeder on the top of the clutch housing. It takes time for the air to migrate up out of the slave. Some talk of pressure bleeding it, but I don't see how since the fitting on the slave cyl is not accessible.

I have a 2.4 with the f23 trans. When I vacuum bled it, I did it from both spots. I bought a rubber plugs and put vacuum on from the top of the tank, and also from the bleeder spot right above the transmission.

What are ways you can tell if the master is going bad??
