Hey guys.

Here is the problem if i am sitting still with the cobalt out of gear and i do a good 4000 rpm or higher rev i have to pump the clutch pedal to get pressure back in it. If I try to put it in gear without pumping i have to force it in to 1st. if i pump it i get pressure on the pedal and it is normal. what does this mean? some have told me its the slave cylinder and some have said it sounds like pressure plate or tob problems. thanks in advance.

It says right in the owners manual for my 2009 SS/TC

" If you are having trouble shifting into 1st gear, make sure you are out of gear, and pump clutch pedal once"

Ok.. so thats not word for word.. but dude.. its legit. No worries. I noticed that on my 09 with 650 miles on it....1st gear almost feels locked out sometimes.

Solution.. just toss it into 1st gear while your still moving and hold the clutch in.

I rarely ever come out of gear... I know your kinda supposed to, but I just hold the clutch in at red lights and ****.

you can do ^^ but to save ur throwout bearing, once u come to a stop u can put it back in neutral, then get back into 1st as normal upon takeoff. same thing.
