i suspect the clutch is starting to slip a little, however i did a 3rd gear punch for a sec to see, with t/c on, and my dic said "low traction". if the clutch is slipping its not enough to notice when comparing my speedo to my tach. but ionno. would the car say "low traction" if its just clutch slip?

btw im making around 400tq so clutch slipping or wheels spinning a little in 3rd gear is possible.

reguardless its about time to go zzp s4 clutch

My car would spin alittle from a 60mph roll and say low traction in 30 degree weather...but the clutch died not to long after

well its been about 85-90 today im thinking clutch. its gonna be expensive but once i get a new clutch i can move on with getting a bigger turbo too.

Your car makes more power At the time mine was putting down 366wtq. I went with a clutchmasters stage 4 six puck and an aluminum flywheel. I'm not too crazy about the flywheel to be honest.

ugh, found out i need a new clutch for the srt4 too... stock clutch shouldnt cost a lot tho.

The clutch is decent but it's not for everybody. There is some chatter but since I don't drive my cobalt daily anymore it doesn't but me at all. If I had to put up with it everyday it would annoying pretty quick.

yea im thinking about going with the zzp s4 clutch. nobody has ever complained about it and it supposedly feels like stock. you can even NLS with it which is a huge plus.

stock flywheel too. lol. everyone hates lightweight fw

just a guestimate. full bolt ons to include fmic, and a hp tune by m-dub tweaked by area47 that spikes 30psi.

With good tires you won't spin 3rd in warm weather but make sure your not getting on it too early in the rpm range and causing more stress on the clutch.

yea i know. i wont go WOT in 3rd on anything below 60mph.

second gear im not too worried about since the tires will just spin, which relieves the stress on the clutch.

quite possible i made 370 on only 23 psi and i wasn't even fully bolted and on a hurt motor
