so i was pulling out of a street last night ans all of a sudden a crotch rocket came screaming around the corner. well i slammed the clutch and brake to the floor. when i hit the floor with the clutch i heard a cracking nosie. when i got home i shut the car off and tried to start it, and it started. but today i was driving around and my CEL came on and it was a clutch switch code. anyone else have this prob. its a $10 part so i ordered it. but wanted to see if this has happened before.

 

my clutch switch was all outta wack for a while.. mine didn't brake it's just never set right lol

 

i never got under the dash to check. i wonder if the threads on it are busted?

 

that is very possible.. it's really not the biggest deall i noticed cruise controll doesn't work when it's f'd up and your reves hang longer then usual but it's not gonna kill ya lol

 

Exactly my problem, my revs hang and no CC. but the part came in today. so i will istal it tomorrow. it was $9.69

 

You may want to try 'lifting up' on the brake pedal and clutch before you do an install.

The brake pedal got stuck a little down on my ss/sc in a very similar incident regarding a big ass truck while I was still in Ohio.. accidentally fixed it with my toe on the way to the dealership actually.

mine broke and i couldnt start my car i took it to the dealer and they fixed it no problem
