Clutch time soon :(

So, sitting at almost 50k, 30k of those tuned. WOT pulls are slipping now specificaly 3rd gear pulls onto the freeway. So. I am thinking KY stage 3. I am on a brand new transmission now, so did the TOB get replaced with the new tranny? And should i get a new flywheel or resurface?

Thanks

dafuq?

I am at 96k miles. tuned since I bought the car at 50k and the last 5k miles have been with the ZFR

You gotta learn to not ride that clutch so bad

I would stick with GMPP dude. I doubt GM replaced your TOB when they put in the new transmission.

Taught my wife to drive stick in this car, there has been a few times where the clutch generated smell. I figure that it would be best to upgrade rather than stick with GMPP.

Also, should I do it myself? Never done a clutch job before.

depends on how confident you are with your mechanical abilities. a lift is really nice if you have one available to use.

I have done all my own mods and maintenance on my car but I am kinda nervous about dropping the sub frame and all that.

I was nervous to but I just did mine & the worst part is bleeding the clutch and getting the pressure plate centered as I made a mod for that, the sub frame was a breeze. Download the PDF off this site that was posted in the how to & I went with the GMPP from Crate Engine Depot.

I'm moded to 287 HP at the wheels on the last Dyno, I like the feel of the GMPP clutch so far.
