Cobalt turbo clutch on SS/SC successful swap!

Like the title says, i did this yesterday on my 06 SS/SC and all the parts matched I even used the a used LNF flywheel because mine was glazed and to my surprise it was the same part number. This is what i bougth from ebay.

09 COBALT SS TURBO OEM SACHS FACTORY CLUTCH W/ PRESSURE - eBay (item 280640606071 end time Mar-30-11 11:30:17 PDT)

Check the part number of the flywheel. I installed a new clucth disk. The flywheel and pressure plate where in excellent condition. But you guys can do this just buying the OEM turbo clutch kit that is cheaper than the up grade. Im still using the stock slave cylinder. and works like a charm the trick is to bleed the system by doing the vacuum method.

I will update this thread if i have any issues.

Drove around for 40 miles in town and highway no problems the turbo clutch is so much smoother engaging and in shifting.

this inst really news.....its been known for quite some time you could swap LSJ/LNF clutch assemblies back and forth, I installed the first LSJ Hypersingle into an LNF car for Exedy back in spring 2009 I think. Good buy though if its working for you

I did a little bit of research about this , I concluded that it was posible. Went ahead with the proyect and it did payoff.
I did a couple of wot runs and it held good.
