Arrow ZZP or OTTP trans mounts

ZZP has Cobalt & Ion ---> ZZ Performance
for $99.99

OTTP has theirs OTTP Rotated Trans Mounts - Over The Top Performance
for $239.99 (stg2)

My big question is
What is the advantages and justifications of buying OTTP's over ZZP's?

IMO they will do the exact same thing and I doubt there is much of a performance difference.

the zzp one is just the rear mount. not sure if just the rear mount is enough to rotate the tranny enough to get the axles in the optimum position

Searching only allowed me to mainly find info on their stage kits, nothing about their mounts.

But will the zzp be enough for the track?

It's stuff for sale from vendors???

I couldn't guess what would be appropriate enough for this kind of thread.

I should have put " wanted " and i'm trying to figure out why I would get one over the other.

Maybe general cobalt would have been better.

Don't forget that you always get what you pay for. If the OTTP are 2 times and a half the price of the other one, for sure there is a very valid reason

Well the ottp mounts are outsourced to powell so that also adds to the price. I personally have Ottp Stage 2 mounts, I got them in the group buy and I heard they were the best, not much on the zzp mounts, I honestly didnt even know they made them til after I bought ottp

ottp ones are no longer made by powell. they are made based off his design now
this has been discussed before.

hmmn, just because something costs more doesn't make it any better.

That could be deceiving to the buyer to make them think that.

zzp's mounts aren't even rotated. They just decided to market them that way so that they would be able to compete with us. Our mounts are sale right now also. $175 a set

Ottp/Powel trans mounts work great, and IMO are the best.

I have the Stage 1 mount with a GMPP rear trans mount, and I have zero wheel hop. The shifts feel firmer with next to no vibration.
