conversion from auto to manual

If there hasnt already been a thread made about this..... would it be possible to convert a auto cobalt into a manual and what parts would be needed?

hey nice web site lol but it doesnt have anything about cars on it.

makes me wish I would have gotten a manual to begin with.... i wonder if I can do a direct trade with a dealership.

take the beating on the trade in if thats whats gona make you happy. it would be much more expensive to do the conversion.

I traded in my auto 2.4 for a 2.0 SS/SC. Negative equity FTL but I have no regrets, I love my manual now since it's much more fun to drive.

I would consider just trading the market for economy cars has risen in the past few weeks cause of gas prices. When I went to the auction most cars were bringing over trade in value. which sucks for us dealers cause not alot of markup from there. but now would be a good time to trade if you are thinking about it.

It would be way too expensive and way too time consuming. Like others have said you will be better off getting rid of the auto in favor of a stick(manual transmission) car.
