no becasue when i pulled the motor out the trans only had 35k so i though it would be ok so you think that might be it
do you think if the trans fluid is low that would make a diff to be casue i did lose some when we pulled the motor

Re-bleed the Clutch. That is your problem... and that will also the the pain in your ass.
Its a two person job... and it takes some perfecting.
Trans Fluid will have no effect on it... and you don't need to replace the slave cylinder... but you need to be sure that you put that black ring back on top of the slave cylinder.

yeah the rings there and i dont think it the slave casue it would have quiet when i backed up and drove a little and we bleed that thing for like a hafe hour and it sounds lke there still air coming out but the clutch pedal is stiff
also when we had it on stands i let the clutch out and it turns the wheels but barily so you think there just more air or what

I dunno... when I did mine, I was on stock clutch. And I only had to bleed it for like 5 minutes.
Open the bleeder... and have someone pump the clutch pedal until fluid comes out in a steady flow... then have them push in the clutch pedal and while the pedal is pushed in, you need to close the bleeder.

its wierd when we were bleeding it like after the bleeder was closed and the pedal had a crapy feel the first to pumps than it stiffend up i dont know
i need to find that vacum pump they tell you to use maybe that well help

I didn't use the Vacuum Pump and mine feels just like it did before. You don't need it.
And yeah, my pedal felt empty at first... then I had to re-seat the Slave Cyl and it started building pressure after that.

I had to take it off the Transmission and put it back on... for some reason it wasn't seated properly and therefore didn't have a good seal.
i'm talking about this... sorry for confusion...

First off, as I've stated a million times before on here always replace the slave cylinder anytime the clutch is removed! Most likely you are going to have to pull the transmission now and replace it.
Secondly, do not use the vacuum bleed method as it usually messes up the slave cylinder. The old two man procedure is best unless you have a speed bleeder then you can do it by yourself.
Finally, check the clutch line fitting/o-ring that goes into the distribution block on the trans. Ensure it is in good shape and sealed properly.

I've screamed till I was loud in the face on this one, but the mods never listen!
I might make a thread one of these days and hopefully the mods will listen!
Glad to see you worked it out though!
