Don't move...

So today. I was probably going 10 mph and I accidentally put my car in reverse. The engine stopped steering wheel wasn't hard to move. I parked and turned it back on, it took like 10 secs to start. Made some weird sounds. My car is automactic by the way. Driving my car around seems normal. Putting it in reverse feels normal. Is there anything I should be worried about? Did I break or mess up anything? Should I a transmission fluid change?

I would check it out, but I know newer cars are meant to basically just shut down if somethings like that happens.

I did it to my dad's truck when I was 16, the steering wheel locked up and it made some crazy ass sounds. But I turned it off and back on and it was fine.
