Dumb Question

http://www.modernperformance.com/clu...lt-p-1895.html

Is Slave Cylinder just another name for a throwout bearing? Or are they to different parts all together?

no it's not. But the slave cylinder is a unit and the throwout bearing is part of the assembly. So essentially if what you're asking is if the slave cylinder is all you need, then yes it is.

the throwout bearing is part of the slave cylinder assembly. When you swap clutches, you have to swap out the whole slave cylinder assembly.

The slave cyl & throwout bearing are one part number, it's a unit. I listed the GM P/N in my clutch thread in the LNF performance tech section. I replaced it when the clutch was put in. Do the ZZP clutch rod at the same time.

I thought you already did a clutch, no?
