Well here is my F35 parts back from being Cyroed. The parts are a good bit darker and shiny. Heres some pics.

So will this allow the tranny to handle a bit more abuse like torque and hp? Because I know it strengthens the metal.

Supposed to make it 60 to 80 % stronger ,especially the case but not brittle.

 

I have a Quaif LSD for in it and ordered new bearings for that and for the 4.45 pinion shaft

 

you got the 4.45 ring gear too?

 

Yes I searched all over the country and bought a Saab trans for $270 shipped. It had the 4.45 ring and pinion shaft plus a bunch of good spare gears and shift linkage. The case had a different bolt pattern so I added it to my scrap bin.

 

Haha how much would you charge to do this to mine?

 

Im still getting some special tools together and just got new bearings for the 4.45 pinion shaft and Quaif LSD. I new to send the ring and pinion and LSD out to get cryoed. I had to order a bearing splitter that would work on the Quaif. Nothing easy

 

I'd love to know what kinda numbers it will actually hold when it's done.
