F35 teardown

I need to replace the transaxle input shaft bearings. I have looked thru the service manual procedure. I haven't seen any threads here on it. For anyone who has done it:
-where are you finding replacement parts
-specialty tools...are you getting by without them? Where can i source them?
-can the input shaft be removed without breaking down the output shaft?

Look up B3 Designs on Facebook. He's a member here(LNFWagonSS) that does major custom work on these transmissions, he could probably give you an idea what you'd be in for and where to source parts from.
