I went to shift into 2nd and the pedal went to the floor and stayed there. I coasted into a dealership and she's squirting fluid out under the fuse box.

I shut it off and used the starter to get me moving and revved matched her home.

Any ideas? It's ******* hot out and wasn't planning to work on my car today.

nope either the master cylinder, hydralic line from the master to the tob where the bleeder screw is, or the tob itself. two of the three would be easy as **** to do

I think it's the line but about to take a closer look. It wasn't coming from the master cylinder though..

You could get a whole other master cylinder. They come with new clips. But the clip alone. No.

And btw all master cylinders for all cobalts are the same SS or not.

I ended up buying a different retaining clip and bending it to the right size. I didn't bleed the clutch but it feels fantastic and easier/smoother than it has ever been with great engagement.
