help!!! coolant leaking...

help!!! coolant leaking...

hey so i have a cobalt 2.4 le5. I just installed an obx header and catless dp, and its BAD. theres a clicking noise. and there is a coolant leak. i have no idea where its coming from. can anybody help?

i had the same exact problem last year. the header flange is warped. and you have to rotate the collant crossover pipe that it hits on.

sweet....i figured it out. it was a broken seal from the waterpump. it must have cracked under the pressure when i first started it.

kissrocker52, you have to loosen a few bolts on the thermasat, and then my hand you just rotate the waterpump pipe so it doesnt hit the header. i didnt know of this at first, so when i started the car, it must have cracked a seal under the pressure.
