help with finding tranny part.
hey guys I'm needing help finding a part got my 09 cobalt SS/TC. There is the piece of the trans axle casing that something evidently hit and cracked. been leaking tranny fluid and i don't wanna drive it dry and f*** up my tranny. So I've looked all over the internet and honestly do not know what the part is called and cannot find it. I went to the stealership today and took them a while to find it but they wanted an arm and a leg for it. $136 and some change. I was hoping maybe someone could find it cheaper online. any help is greatly appreciated and if its on this forums forgive me because idk what to search for. the part is on the diagram #3 also do not know whether its limited slip or not.

you posted diagrams of a different transmission, the f23. If you have cracked the transmission end case on your turbo, 136 dollars is not a bad price unless you can find a used one; SL6rally found one for 106 shipped, great deal imho. Any 2005-2010 supercharged or turbocharged F35 transmission end case will fit. Good luck.
thank you all very much. lol idk how you found that on that site maybe my browser is messed up every time i selected year make and model and went to transmission it brought me to the link i posted and both diagrams look identical even to the one the stealership printed out for me. god its so hard to believe that something so small and simple could cost so much. both diagrams say mu3
