Hmmm. Drive Noise. I Dunno.

I have a 2006 Cobalt LS 2.2L, 5-speed with stock tires and are about 6 months old. I had them checked and balanced, they are good. But I have something I can not figure out. My car sounds like it has those heavy duty mud tire. You have seen those high left suspension truck and they pass you by or you pass them, you can hear those tires ERRERRERRERR. Well my car sounds like that, at least from the inside. Has anyone encountered this? Can anyone help? Thank You in advance.

Either you have crappy tires or possibly your wheel hub has gone bad.

Thank You for your reply.
I guess pulling it apart will let me know if its the hub, can you tell me what to look for, indications of a bad hub once I have it apart.
