How many miles on your aftermarket clutch?
I think my clutch is beyond saving, and am considering the following three clutches:
Spec 3+ non-sac with their lightened flywheel
Exedy Hyper Single
Centerforce DFX Clutch
I am looking for opinions from people that own or have owned one of these clutches, how they held, and how long they lasted (if they needed replacing), or how many miles and still going strong?
I know the exedy is probably the best but I am leaning away from it due to the cost factor.
I realize the Spec + flywheel isn't that much less, but I am considering the following scenario:
If it needs replacing again while I still own the car, I just buy another Spec clutch, and new friction plate, whereas the exedy you have to buy the whole package again.
The Centerforce is cheap enough with the flywheel to just buy again as well, so I would like opinions on these clutches.
Thank you,
Kevin

I've seen people mention the exedy OEM replacement, any thoughts on this?
Is it as easy to glaze as the stock clutch?
My stock clutch was fine for me until I beat on it at the strip.

Spec Stage2+, about 20k mi on it and it's great. But it's not easy to slip, since if you try you likely end up getting smashed back into your set.
It's stiffer than stock but engages around the same (maybe a bit lower, not much). DOES NOT like to be slipped at all, very harsh if you try.
Labor on a clutch is 8-9hours, mine was 9hours total.

Ive got about 16k miles on my spec stg2 plus. daily driving, the clutch pedal feels just like stock. But it seems after im driving at highway speeds for long time and i down shift, the pedal feels hard and it almost seems like there is a problem with my slave cylinder. Which is wierd because i replaced it with the clutch. The guys at spec said they havent seen to many problems with the stg2 plus. Im not sure if the hard pedal is caused by brake fluid contamination, or a problem with the pressure plate. I guess ill just drive it like it is until it needs replacing. That clutch was not a fun install.
