hurst shifter problems

I just helped curtis (firestorm) adjust his hurst, took 3 minutes to have it feeling exactly like stock shift points.
just like mine.
sorry guys, you can blame the part all you want, but if you dont install it properly, its not going to work.
spend some time adjusting the cables properly.

I hate to revive an old thread but I assume its better than making a new one...
I had to reattach my linkage tonight after it popped off... I never adjusted it when I first put it in and now that I have adjusted it the gears do feel VERY smooth, almost too smooth for comfort.
Anyway, when its in 5th now and I push it into neutral it just sits there right below 5th rather than returning to the "central" neutral position. What do I need to adjust to fix this?
