Intercooler pump problems

I'm running stage 3 with an option B kit but no dual pass end plate right now. My issue is that my option B kit tank is not getting any fluid pumped into it. The pump is pumping though and if I take the line off that goes into it it will pump fluid into a cup but not the tank? What do you guys think I'm guessing the pump is failing and there is just to much pressure in the system for it to pump correctly.

Failed pumps are probably the #1 cause of LSJ engine failure and sadly no indication to let you know it's not working unless you check your fluid and pump regularly.

I'm not sure if that's your problem in this case. Generally there should just be fluid sitting in the reservoir doing nothing. It's there as the backup for when that shot glass sized tube dries up.

I thought that's where he said he saw fluid moving. But I was getting the impression that he thought it would be doing the same in his optional reservoir. I don't think it should do that in the optional reservoir.

I remember seeing mine flow but not like it should... Worked but once I replaced it I saw a huge difference and opened up the old one and there was a mess inside...

Yeah, lots of plastic shavings get caught in the impeller.

My brother has a blown up cobalt ss in our shop so I ripped his intercooler of and put it on mine just now huge difference you can see it pumping into the tank clear as day. My old pump was pumping but very little so I'm going to take it apart and see what I find inside hahah
