LSJ and LNF clutches interchangable??

ok so time has come to change my clutch, my friend has an LNF and he gave me a CM stage 4 that he had in his LNF for maybe 6-7k miles. my question is, will i be able to use that clutch in my LSJ without a problem, i called CM, and one person told me yes, and another person told me no... i know we basically have the same tranny but im still a little confused. if anyone knows for sure, ill appreciate it.

Difference between clutches is the flywheel. The pins on the flywheel are different.

do you know if that clutch already comes with the flywheel? i didnt even check. and so, that means it wont fit?

i was thinking about just reusing my stock flywheel and resurfacing it.

I imagine the flywheel you need is dictated by which motor you have. The clutches and transmissions themselves should be totally interchangeable.

the clutches are 100% interchangeable. the upgrade clutch gmpp for lsj is an lnf pressure plate with a saab disc. lnf disc has different impact springs and different lining, works the same. the lnf dowl pins are larger, but same orientation, so care has to be taken aligning the clutch cover evenly on the lsj flywheel as the dowels are smaller on the lsj flywheel and therefore too large on the lnf cover...
the ky clutches i have seen are lnf /lsj upgrade pressure plates with a funky puck style disc.

no one would want to put a stock lsj weaksos clutch cover on an lnf, but if you really wanted to, u could, if you drilled out the dowel pin holes.
