lsj vibrating while in gear?

Hello everyone, I recently got another cobalt. It has a few issues that need addressed. It has a new (6k mile) transmission, clutch, axles. It has a vibration in the front end but only when it's in gear. It gets worse depending on how much throttle I'm giving it. The thing is if I depress the clutch or have it in neutral it's very smooth. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

Bad or misaligned mount? Binding axle?

I'll start with checking the mounts. Wouldn't a binding axle vibrate all the time though regardless of being in gear or not?

Probably, but the fact that you are giving it throttle could also be making it more noticeable. I've seen stranger....

Well on my way home tonight I lost all use of my transmission. Lol. Smelled like the clutch got burnt up, I guess I'll figure out the exact cause soon.

Little update. The axle (non lsd car) came out of the transmission. The transmission shop doesn't think the clutch is shot but something sure smelled like burnt clutch, I'll update one more time when I know for sure about the clutch!

the smell was probably the axle seal burning up if the axle wasn't fully seated in the trans.
