Ok so i noticed that recently if im driving and i go to punch it in 3rd or 4th more so that the car has a weird hesitation to put down power. When i punch in it seems to lag to gain power not sure if maybe a belt is just slipping or the clutch isnt holding. It does it after being in gear for a while and when dropping it. Wondering your opinions and thank you in advance.

well i know the clutch is starting to slip a little when high in rpm shifts. So i dont do it trying to make it last a little longer haha. But in 1st and 2nd its seems fine no issue just when casual to stomp or roll into 3rd or 4th it does it. 5th never has power so no point ha. I thought maybe supercharger belt slip or something idk

 

Prob not slipping it 3rd or 4th. You would notice the rpms increase without mph increasing if it was. I would tend to believe you have a fuel delivery problem but it could be a lot of things.

What trim is your car? LS? SS?
Also what year?
Mileage?
How hard do you drive it?
Do you race it?
Have you changed your oil lately?
Used any kind of fuel injector cleaner?

Mileage? 81,xx
How hard do you drive it? Nicely till 2nd then ease off again i do this often
Do you race it? Not really, went to track when first bought never since. That was over 2 years ago
Have you changed your oil lately? Oil was changed few months back oild life status around 50%
Used any kind of fuel injector cleaner? About 3 months or so back never since

Any other questions just ask need some opinions here

 

If you don't notice the tach spiking then I'd still say fuel delivery sounds likely. Check your injectors/spark plugs/spark plug cables.
