So for awhile now my car just cruising at a steady speed lets say going 45 in 3rd with my foot steady on the gas the whole car will jump and shake like the tranny is falling off. It also does this horribly when i let off the gas in the upper rpms. Also when i did a WOT run from a rolling 20 in 1st my car went and almost to redline the car stopped then went again and then i shifted to 2nd and than right after that the whole car jumped. I had thought the engine had blown from how violent it was but everything seemed normal afterward. Could my tranny be on its way out or will a tranny mount someow fix this ****? I have 38,000 miles on the car. O and bc of this i was dead even with a 2.7 pullied cobalt with less exhaust mods

 

I have had something similar to this happen, but in second gear. A couple of mornings now, I have left the house, headed to work, and pulled out on to a main road. As I shift in to 2nd, I can feel, as I am letting off of the clutch, the jump and buck. It is almost as if my clutch is catching and releasing. I usually have to stop the car, shut down and let it sit, and then get going again.
