Need 07 cobalt tranny. Please help.

07 cobalt ss s/c with I’m pretty sure the f35 mu3 option no lsd. I found one in ny for about $900 with 127000 on it. I just bought the ss with bad trans pretty cheap not knowing a whole lot about the trans issues with these cars. Just wondering what’s the best route for this trans not knowing too much more about how mechanically sound this car is. New trans? Not sure. Thanks

You could run an f23 for cheap ....
F23 will handle the power but you need the cables, mount, axles and and tran.
OR
FIND a parts car on Craigslist for cheap and pull the bits you want .... f35 lsj without LSD shouldn't be that expensive.
