need help with shift cable install

I got all the connections just can't figure out how to get the thing through the firewall and help or suggestion would be appreciated

This is best done with 2 sets of hands. After you pull up the rug and insulation You need to go from the shifter end and have the second person guide it up past all the obstructions until you can snap it into the mount on the trans. Then make sure the rubber grommet is in place. put the cable ends on loosly and snap the cable into the mounts on the shifter. Adjust the shifter to your liking
