Broken Tranny or Something less Serious?

Ok guys, I'm at the gas pump putting in 20 dollars turn the car on and pull out to the stop sign, everything normal. I go to pull out from the stop sign and the car wont move anywhere and all i here is a terrible clunking noise like something is spinning around and banging stuff in the tranny. What do you think bad tranny or something else?
