Need a performance rebuild shop for LNF trans

Can anyone provide me with any shops that will rebuild the tranny for <400hp? I'm in St Louis, but I assume I will have to ship it some where.

So far the only vendor I know is FMSR, but I can't find a way to get hold of FMSRperformance. I left a message at 484-294-FMSR & their contacts page from their website & no response.

I would use powell race shop. If you search powell he has a thread recently for rebuilds. Good prices and quality work

X2 I had problems with FMSR too and reading some things they post and never back up I'd be careful going with them

Text powell PM me and I'll give you his number he's a good guy and charges $650 for a rebuild (I believe don't quote me on that). It adds cost though if you don't send in a LSD transmission and want one as well as adding 4.45 gears which are going to cost more than 4.05 for example.

No one has actually made a stronger 3.82 trans. Instead of rebuilding, just sell yours and get a 4.05 or a 4.45 if you can upon one. By the way, the trans will definitely be good for 400whp, but wtq on the other hand is a different story. Just gotta do an impressive boost ramp so the turbo doesn't hit so hard.

just fyi fmsr offers no warrenty regardless of how the transmission goes....not saying they will build it to blow up but things happen and it blows up due to being put together wrong your screwed.

If you have a spare 6 grand around black friday, fmsr has his famous 20k deals for only 6 grand.

All his products are proven, he has 3d plastic models. If this isn't enough for people i don't know what is. Also, his prices are only a little more then the competition. Add this in with great customer service and they are probably the best vendor bar none.

That was of course sarcastic, if you want a rebuild try other vendors with better prices and a warranty. You may want to try picking up a used ss/sc transmission (4.05) if it is in good shape also.
