New clutch question

I just had my KY stage 3 clutch along with a new flywheel. It feels like soon as I let it off the floor it grabs. Its almost as there isn't any pressure on the clutch pedal until the point where the pedal is on the floor. Is there anyway to adjust it or is going to get any better? Or is something possibly wrong?

the way it is. good news as it wears the release point may get higher, unless its a SAC clutch. Check with KY

Is it because its a new clutch and still breaking in or is it the way kys clutches are? Just wondering. Guys that installed my clutch said they never felt a clutch that grabs as quick as this one.

as a clutch breaks in you can expect the pedal to travel slightly upwards....unless its a SAC then that may not happen until it wears out..

You think it's ok that the clutch pedal feels almost worthless and that there isn't any pressure what so ever until the clutch engages? I mean until it engages it feels like the pedal is gonna go straight to the floor without doing anything.

I'm in the same boat as you, I just got my KY clutch Stage 3 installed along with a new OEM flywheel. To me the clutch has an RX8 style feel to it. I know you probably never driven one but you get the same spring back action as well as how light it is. For me it feels fine the way it is. Can't wait to get threw the break in period
