(i cant really find a place to post this so if its in the wrong place please feel free to move)
Here is the part that was a major pain... what is it you might ask, dont worry i asked the same thing.
(now its story time)
I bought my ss/sc then had the stage 2 installed, at 3K i had the oil changed. All of this is all the dealer i bought it from.
At around 3600 miles I was in the middle of no where (at a funeral) and BAM steam from my hood, I think we can all figure out very quickly that I was loosing radiator fluid. Well it was, the bottom hose of the resivare blew off. After I let the car cool a little bit I went to work, finally was able to get the hose back on (had to fit my arm under the fuse box to push it back on, hurt like a mf).
While doing it, I noticed some strange about the clamp, on one side it was a normal clamp on the other there was this blue thing. I had no clue what it was. Tried everything I could think of to get the clamp tight. Finally I did what every guy does after awhile... I got mad and pulled on it. poof the blue thing comes off and the clamp is tight.
So it seems like the blue part is the tool Chevy used at the plant to make it easy to put on the clamps, what the worker is supposed to do is, PULL it off when done, someone must have just spaced for a sec.
Now i get to go threw the dealer again to have a damn long laundry list of things to do (good thing i have a 6yr 100K warranty)
heres the list:
1: Look at all hoses and make sure everything is tight and in place.
2: change all my coolant to a 50/50 mix (i had to fill my car w/ water)
3: fit a piece of plastic that is lifting up around the door
4: Find why my belt is making a squeaking sound (probably needs to be tightened)
5: Check why my sc is making an almost knocking sound
6: fix my remote unlock fob because it stopped working.
That should be all.. other then that im very happy with the car..
Once the car is fixed i will be installing/ doing

2 Exhaust
3 programming
