Sure you're using the right size pin?

1 inch long by 3/16 thick had to go to lowes and get it since everywhere else wanted to play "call another place" in my town. it fits but after a few days it will slide out again i try to take it easy while shifting now but it still does the same thing.

Go up a size? I remember reading a few people who've done that on here. Could use a bolt as well..

He said he's using 1 x 3/16, so he is. Lowe's probably only has hollow ones. Might like a coiled one from McMaster-Carr that might fit better. It's what I'm using, or race hardened ones from Powell.
