rust on a new clutch...

rust on a new clutch...

do i have to worry about rust on a new clutch before i install it... its very small amount

i bought it from a friend its never been installed but got a lil rust on it

No No No dont use WD40

I would use a brake cleaner type cleaning solution.

I really dont think the rust would cause a issue. IMO

a clutch is amde from ruffly the same thing as your brakes. if its got a little rust, it'll come off as the clutch sets and be fine.

im guessing its the pressure plate that has rust, clean it off as good as you can before installing it. rust will cause clutch chatter untill its worn away.
