Anyone have a how to on changing the shifter cables for an 09 cobalt ss

Pop them off in under the cup holder. Pop them out of the little bushing holde under there also.. Go under the car near the downpipe and unbolt the bracket... Pop the mounts off the trans.. Voila

Yea...it's pretty simple. I had to pull the heatshield around the down pipe down as well.

Also, if you have big hands like me, you may want to find someone with smaller hands to help you get the grommet in place.
