Synthetic trans oil

Just wondering if anyone has swithced to synthetic transmission fluid. Tell me about your findings/results.

Stuff seems pretty cheap but then the labor at the shop will be a little more I guess

First, the manual transmissions in our cars use ATF, not straight weight gear oil. Second I doubt its synthetic for the 2.2 and 2.4 manual trannies. When I replaced mine it felt and looked just like good ole Dexron III. Its possible that GM gave the 2.0 SC synth trans fluid from the factory.

the 2.2L/2.4L Getrag use ATF Dexron 3.

The 2.0 S/C Saab trans uses gear oil

So I guess I don't need to change out any fluids in my transmission because of the gear lube?
